1st time cycle with caribsea life rock. Pointers?

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
So I will just put the CaribSea Life Rock and CaribSea Live Fiji Pink Sand in the tank and fill it up with salt water. Pull the sump sock and leave the skimmer turned off. Dose the DrTims ammonium chloride (pic below) run the pump from the sump to flush the water through. Wait two weeks and dose DrTims ammonium chloride again. After two more weeks (1 month) drain the aquarium and sump. Refill both with fresh salt water and I should be good to go. During the whole process I should keep the heat around 76 and the light on the normal daytime and nighttime modes.
During this entire process I don’t need to test for anything?
Does this all seem correct?

Once you hydrate anything that isn't inherently antimicrobial in a home, then it self cycles given a little time even if you add nothing.
And, if you do add something and boost the natural unassisted cycle timelines, then once a cycle is set it cannot be undone unless you medicate it dead. @brandon429 First of all I read the articles you suggested. Thanks for all the information.
I have been looking on BRS at the CaribSea LifeRock Dry Live Rock but now I am extremely interested in the MarcoRocks Reef Saver Dry Live Rock due to Adams videos
. I like the price point better plus I like the idea of building a uniform looking aquascape with this instead.I will be doing this with the CaribSea's Arag-Alive Live Reef Sand so I will have that live bacteria and I'll also add Dr Tim's One and Only. I'm guessing the cycle time will take a little longer since there is less starting bacteria on the rock. Is this correct and do you have any other suggestions?
Again I'm putting the CaribSea Arag-Alive Live Reef Sand in a 5 gallon bucket and rinsing with what type of water? Tap water kinda freaks me out!!! Granted I have it run through a water softener.
