I've been having problems with two different types of algae. Both come off the rock pretty easily with a baster.
The rust/red looking stuff I am not sure about. It does come off easily and also grows in the same spots.
The second picture is hard to see but its a diatom brown looking algae. Most of it just dusts off but some is similar to hair algae and I have to take a brush to it.
Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025
Phosphate: 0.03
Nitrate: 5ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Age of Tank: ~6 months
