2 bulb t5 ho combination

Hello everyone,

I have a 18in nova extreme 2x18w fixture. I was going to order some new bulbs from it from http://nanotuners.com with there new t5-r bulbs. Out of there selection which combination would look the best. BTW this is going over a 5.5g tank

I am looking for a really good 14k look. I know a 2 bulb fixture is hard to get a good combo on but any help would be appreciated.

hmm I posted but it was stolen by the flying monkeys? checked the link but can't see those bulbs? your looking for a soft blue but not all white? I really like the ati blue plus, pretty strong color so its not washed out by the whiter ones

Not sure if ati makes bulbs that size but if they do I would go with an aquablue special and a blue+. That should give you that 14k look.

he's stuck on UVL bulbs.

I'd say ....
Actinic White (about 12k color) and a 454 (blue)


note, I'm just going off what info I have found on the net....no real experience with these bulbs.

Ok thanks. i was thinking an aquasun and a super actinic. The aquasun to me seems the most like a 14k color. I hate how little choice I have but its going on a 5.5g so not many options.

it's just the equivalet to the ATI aquablue special and a blue+, which I know looks good.

ya switch the 454 with a super actinic, didn't see that one on the list.
