Appreciate this! So he’s breathing fast and almost barely winning the pump waves is just making him flow.
So I’ll be losing all of them is it what do I do to avoid this now.
Barely swimming

If that happens, you'll need to let your tank go fallow for 60 days (invertebrates only, no new fish). Then, you can reduce the chance of this happening again by either quarantining all new fish, buying only captive raised fish, direct from the breeder, or buying pre quarantined fish from a vendor like Dr. Reef.

Thank you so much for this man!

I too on the clown see signs of brook. Often the fish will have loss of appetite and increased breathing rates. As Jay stated, best is to leave tank fishless for 6 to 8 weeks with the longer term best.
Often a 5 minute freshwater dip will offer temporary relief but if fish has heavier breathing, I would not recommend it but adding an airstone may help but still a gamble.

Amazon shows Formalin available for less than $25 bucks for those that may be interested in keeping it on hand or are in need for it now. That's assuming that it's the correct stuff.

I'm not qualified to answer that from experience, but I believe that's the proper method from what I've read. I have no idea what the dosage is. Jay would definitely be the guy to ask.

All 4 gone! Guess I’ll be fish less for 8 weeks

The one that was clinging …….

So now fish less for 8 weeks? Anything I need to do? Water changes still? Change media in back?

I do have a yellow watchman goby. Not sure if I can leave him in tank since I’m going fallow for 8 weeks

Goby seems fine? Fallow must be fishless.

Can't leave him in if you're going fallow. While he may never get sick, he can host disease/parasites, etc. and subsequently pass it on to future additions.

Goby seems perfectly fine
So quarantine tank and add it
No - formalin has to be mixed precisely at 37% solution and often a risk as its formaldehyde. Your better off with safe items like ruby Rally pro or general cure which contain it. Definitely not good advice given

So put him in a smaller quarantine tank with pistol shrimp for mean time you thinkv

What should I do with goby

Remove all fish and assume there is an on lying issue within the tank as you often dont see disease until its often too late

Sounds like brook.. so I had a outbreak and lost all of my clowns before I could take action… going fallow wasn’t a option for me as I have numerous large tangs in a 300 and nobody else showed any signs of anything.. in fact I have over 30 fish including anthias, chromis etc! Everyone else was fine but I lost the clowns.. what I did was treat my tank with ruby rally pro for 3 days as the instructions state and then did it again 2 weeks later and all is fine! I added new clowns after 4 weeks of the brook outbreak and my tank never skipped a beat! It’s been a couple months now and everyone is healthy and doing amazing!
