Would these two get along in a 100g?

Kamohara Blenny, (Meiacanthus kamoharai)

Blackline Blenny, (Meiacanthus nigrolineatus)

@eatbreakfast my go to fish guy. What do you think? I'm ordering fish need your help. Thanks in advance!

Personally I would be wary. I haven't tried those 2 species together, but I have tried others and only ended up with 1.

I have a kamohara and a smithi in a reefer 125. Both ORA. The Kamohara was in there first for a couple months, it’s near adult. The smithi has been in there a couple months. Was a juvenile when introduced. Probably a sub adult now. Other than the first day, I’ve seen isolated aggression maybe two times. Kind of violent chasing for a minute.... then.... complete and total peace and interaction. I love the contrasting colors of these two species. Give them some thought. Buy both ORA and you’ll get similar sized juveniles which is in your favor.

The only shot I have both in.

Dude, did I miss where anyone said anything like this might work? [emoji23]

My ORA fish I'll be picking up this week.
3) Kamohara Blenny

3) Yellow Assessors
1) Transparent Cave Goby

good luck dude, if i didnt have a midas blenny already i'd definitely get a kamohara, love their look.

hopefully that 1) Blackline Blenny doesn't turn into 0) Blackline Blenny

Day 2
So far all the blennies are working out great. I got a transparent goby and filefish too. The goby reminds me of a Bearded Dragon lol. Look them up on ORA's site, or when I have time I'll post a pic.
I'm loving the Kamoharas. The Blackline is a bit smaller and my Resplendent Anthia wants to punk them all but the Blackline is only one vs the Kamohara I got three. Very fun fish to watch swim around. At least two of the blennies have sampled some food I feed.

Sorry bad cell phone pictures. I like how the Kamohara white line looks blue under leds. I was almost confusing them for my blue neon goby. The 2nd picture is the 3" Transparent Cave Goby it's way laid back. It jumps about 2 to 3 inches when it goes for food. It needs it's own thread lol

Quick update all fish have been eating well. These fish are very active! It was fun watching my bully Resplendent slowly have to accept the blennies. The Anthia use to spend about 10% of his sleeping time in this one cave well now it's the bigger of the blennies cave to sleep in. You snooze you loose.

Where did you order them from. I have kept my eye out for a black line blenny.

The larger Kamohara sleeps in the best cave, and I was watching him last night looked away for a second but noticed him dart out after another Kamohara. It was about a 1.5 ft chase. This was at the last bit of light in the tank so not uncommon for fish to be stacking a claim on sleeping quarters.

Blenny update
So 3 Kamohara blennies is a bit much along with a blackline.
The medium size Kamohara and the large one like to fight. Today the blackline got nailed by one of the Kamoharas I just noticed it in my eye sight but also heard it get bit / impact. The blackline scooted off to a new house I just set up yesterday that he likes. He's come out and is eating so I think he's fine. I do notice what looks like bite marks where he got nailed.

Quick update I decided to take out the medium size Kamohara as it was punking the large Kamohara really bad. Got lucky with a early morning net catch. Let's see how this goes with out him. All other blennies are doing good. I also picked up two yellow Accessors. the [emoji7]

bump, i'm thinking of adding a kamohara so i'm curious how your trio or pair has gone?

and does your blackline still work with the kamoharas?
