If you put two Genicanthus females in the same tank, is it always a sure thing that one will become a male? I was looking at buying a pair of Japanese Swallowtails at my LFS, but the cost of the males are so dang high...
 
I would say in time it should happen, but time may be a longer time table than you’d like/expect
 
I'm given to understand that even if you purchase a male and female, it's possible for the male to revert to female coloration. Wondering if a trio is more likely to tempt one to transition . . .
