I originally bought 4 for a new build but ended up only needing 2. My thought was I'd go all led but decided to do 2 fixtures and a couple of t5.

I also like to tinker and not leave well enough alone. I find myself messing with the spectrum too often. T5 and mitras gives me a little of both. A set it and forget it with t5 with the ability to tinker a little with the Mitras. Although I'm trying to break that habit. :)

I know it sounds biased as I try to sell 2 fixtures but they are amazing lights.

I've done diy, kessil and now these and the Mitras are by far my favorite.

Thanks.

Nice, how do you like them ? and how you would compare them to the AI Hydra or the Ecotech Radiants?

Their spread is awesome. Shimmer is not overwhelming and colors are fantastic. I've heard some complain about the software (light composer) that's in (GCC) GHL control center but I really liked how easy the programming is. They do not have any preset light templates built in like the Radions AB+ but you can go to the GHL website where they have a few uploaded user profiles that you can download and use. When I first set up my lights I downloaded a user profile that was close to what I thought I'd like and tinkered with it to make it my own.

As for the Hydra and the Radion specifically, Ive never owned either to be able to give an honest comparison of them. They both look to be solid lights that can obviously grow corals.
When I was doing my research on buying a fixture it came down to Radions and Mitras. I went with the Mitras because I was already running GHL products. The product name speaks for itself in regard to quality and reliability. I liked the 6 puck layout for spread over the 2 puck design and from the older Mitras model GHL seems to keep upgradability an option as technology changes.

@Marlon2024 @rc1626 - I was thinking about buying 2 of these Mitras Lx7 fixtures for my new SCA150 build specs being the following - 60''x24'''x24 + ProfiLux4 Controller! Would like to get some of your thoughts and opinions on how smooth these Mitras Lx7 Fixtures run ?
Or if you have any pictures you can share when you get them up and running??

I have two on my tank now. I can get you some pictures later this evening. Not sure what you mean when you ask how smooth they run?
With that size tank you might be better off with 3 units depending on what you plan on keeping. Will you be using any supplemental lighting?
