Just spent 2 hours getting my flow in bowfront. I have a hydrofoil L return on right side of tank. I used to use a powerhead left and right till one died, didn't really need 2 anyway with the hydrofoil. But I had a dead spot for top flow, food placed on right would always sit up there in the corner.

After much adjustment, and using extremely finely crushed dry food, I found a flow that works. It ends up being 2 loops left and right of powerhead. With a channel of continuous right to left flow behind the powerhead. I used center placement. Bowfront mission successful. Hopefully this decreases the cyno outbreak I got on bottom left front of tank, now that I see a greatly increased flow there.

Ignore all the grape calpura, I am gradually switching to fern calpura in the corners for my pods, got rid of most the grape, waiting for a but more fern to grow before nuking that rock and taking out the rest. Just keeping it in check for now.
