I am assuming my kessil a160we's led are burnt. Odd thing is both have the same leds out, anyone else experience something like this?

Those are individual channels instead of LEDs that failed. The circuit responsible for the this LED channel is no longer working. Likely repairable. I have a few repair videos on Kessil. This one is likely most relevant:

I am going probably ask a silly question here so please be gentle.

Are you sure those leds are not dedicated to other spectrum settings?

I subscribe to your channel already lol! Thanks for putting that content put there!

Far from a proper electrical Inspection. Visually the only thing I can see without advanced tools is a bubble on a Mosfet, same on both? Is there a schematic out there for the a160we?

I don’t think this is the case but on my kessils there are a few diodes that look off with my naked eye or camera but I know work. I think the near UV is too dim to see with your naked eye.

I know on my h160 there is a set that appears off but after watching even thier release video of the product the same diodes on theirs don’t light and they had said it was a uv spectrum

Good eye. That mosfet does not look good. The question is, is it the cause or the casualty in this case. No schematics for any lights in public sources as far as I'm aware, but many circuits tend to be nearly standard implementations straight out of component datasheets.

Would the part# be listed on the mosfet? Readable Once the coating is removed?

Yes, in most cases. Then comes the challenge of finding a replacement given current component shortages.

Their serial numbers are one off from each other. I wonder if other 160's in this serial number range have had the same issue. I guess we will never know.

Would you say this 360we has the same issue as the 160s?

Yes, quite possible. Same or similar. I haven't seen LED clusters going bad on kessils yet.

could anyone help with the mosfet id (attached pic-160we) as it is burned and cant read anything, in order to replace it.thanks..
