2 months use and broken Gyre 230!!!

I bought this Maxspect Gyre 230 with controller around thanksgiving sale and the controller stopped working today. It just won't turn on . So I guess the problem is the controller and the gyre should be fine hopefully. How can they charge me that kind of money and fail after 2 months use? Does anyone know if these powerheads come with any kind of warranty or if the company even honors it? I really liked the flow coverage but I think I'm going to switch to either 2 mp10's or 1 mp40 for my 55g tank and tried them out for the first time. Are the MPs made to a better standard than the Gyre?

Contact Coralvue they helped me out with my Ethreal led had problems sent me new parts for free.they were very good at responding as well. Just letting you know my experience with them. Good luck with the gyre

you should have a 1 yr warranty. you will just need to show proof of purchase. contact coralvue and open a ticket.

Have you tried contacting Maxspec or Coral Vue?
They warranty information should have been included with Gyre.

In my limited experience, both Maxspec and Coral Vue have been "Johnny on the spot" in helping me. Even so far as to send me new packaging and owners manual for a used Gyre I purchased from R2R.
