guys, just posted an update video under my build below, page 9. Can you please take a look and let me know your thoughts on the flow intensity? Many thanks.
 
That is probably sufficient. I usually like to turn mine up slowly over time until the coral show signs that the flow is too much or the sand bed begins to get blown around, then back off a little bit. The nice thing about programmed flow is the ability to back off at night and allow the coral to feed without being blasted.

Flow is a bit of trial and error and sometimes needs to be adjusted as the tank matures and coral grow out.

Thanks, much appreciated. I kind of got to 30-35% a similar way. I was at 45% with foam guards on, after removing them, it was a lot of flow. Dialed back, 35% seems about right. Thanks again. One more question, does the sequence of different flow patterns in ecotech matter (other than lagoon at night to help rest/recharge)? Any feedback on that?

I don't have experience with the Echotech powerheads. I try to mimic nature with my powerheads so a sway back and forth with some crashing flow here and there, especially in the top third where my SPS are.
