I am really bad at names... one of my biggest weaknesses. That seems to be spilling over into the things I have in my tank. Can anyone help with the names of these two fish? : )

The tang is sensitive, prone to ick.
The foxface is venomous, don’t touch (lol).
I didn’t think the fox face was going to make the trip home today.... he was in really bad shock by the time I got him in my tank.... went totally gray.... wasn’t swimming at all. Thankfully, he recovered.
venomous? Is he a danger to other fish? Or my corals? I’ve been told if I don’t feed him right, he may nip at my corals.

The dorsal spines hold venom. Fish will be fine. If they are bothering him he will tilt the spines at the other fish and they will back off. They shed mucus once and a while. Don't freak out if you see this.

Foxface are great at changing colors to blend in or times of stress. You will notice it change a lot at night or if under duress. That is a Foxface Lo - Siganus vulpinus (no spots). I had one for many, many years (died of old age). Loved it.
The tang is a Paracanthurus hepatus, Dory, Pacific Blue Tang, many names. These guys sometimes have yellow bellies. Depends on area collected from.

I to had a foxface for years. It became friends with a Picasso trigger. The foxface would follow the trigger around all day like a puppy dog. Cool fish. Good luck!
That’s really cool.... I have a lone Fairy Wrasse in the tank.... it would be cool to see that happen : )

he moved in today with the Blue Hippo Tang... they’ve been hanging out together a lot

Wow, thank you! I have all my fish names now... I have a snail I amtrying to name... am betting’ this description is enough for you : )

Doesn’t eat algae, it eats food that drops to the sand... it buries itself and leave a little “trunk“ exposed just above the sand. It it a “nassarius snail”?
