Hi Everyone,

im about to get ready to fill my new reefer 200xl with all the good stuff and im super excited. I have 60 lbs of Fiji pink. How much would you add. Per description this should be about 2 inch. Would you use less than that? Total system volume is 56 gal.

2” looks nice. Be ready to vacuum it at least monthly. A seriously good practice. Good luck.

I would get the extra bag to have on hand to replace sand that gets sucked out!

Thanks! Yeah, that is my second try with sand, my previous one had sand but I took it out due to cyano issues, but sand looks much nicer. Now that I have my intermediate dream reef, I’ll give it another shot.

I think I have some leftover dry stuff in my shed. I hope to not suck too much out.
