2 part dosing on nano 30 gal daily

I have my apex setup to dose 2 part 2 times a day my daily for my daily consumption.

Being a nano system. Would this be beneficial to dose smaller more frequently?

Ive notice lately that the pH is reaching 8.5 before dropping back down. So I figured maybe more often would be better.

IMO dosing more often and smaller amounts is always better, it helps keep the values even more stable. Also, if it is the dosing that is causing the pH spike then smaller doses would help prevent it and raise the pH a little bit over a longer period.

@90's reefer might be able to help here.. he is also dosing manually once a day with great success in his 20g acro nano..

I have a reefer 170 about 40 gallons total. Just getting started with sps so frags for now. I do have a few large sps. I manual dose 2 part daily. 10ml each in the morning. I dump the alk in the overflow and calcium in the tank. No wait in between and all at once. Been doing it that way for a few months and everything seems to be fine. There are a couple recent pics of the tank and livestock in my build thread.

I now dose 2x a day in my 20g nano. Only because im at 12mlx2.
I do the same in my 45 frag system.
My ph stays between 7.9-8.2 on those systems.
