Looking for recommends on what dosing pumps I should get. Don’t have an apex so Neptune are out of the question. Dosing daily with a measuring cup is starting to get old.
I use the BRS 2 part. Any recommendations would be helpful, looking to spend around $150-$200

I’ve been quite pleased with my Kamoer X1 for that purpose. App is straight forward. They do lose settings if the power goes out because they are Bluetooth. It hasn’t been an issue for me as it only happens a couple times a year max.

I am just about to order a Kamoer X1 Pro Wifi. The company makes all kinds of pumps for medical and other equipment which is a major factor in deciding upon it. Plus I can daisy chain more if needed.

My favorite is the Kamoer X1 Pro but it’s expensive. You can get a 4 pump jebao for about the price of 1 Kamoer X1 pro.

I haven’t tried either yet though. I’m looking to buy, like you.

+1 to @Conchman. I use 4 brs 1.1ml pumps for dosing triton method for 3 years now.
Use with a timer, later with a controller when you upgrade.

Not sure how popular this will be but... I've been happy with my Bubble Magus BM-T01 Doser. Once you get used to the less than optimum english instructions, it works very well and is very easy to adjust. I've been using it for about 4 years, and it has stayed spot on. I do replace the dosing heads about every 6 months. Not because I've had a problem, but because I don't want to test their durability. They're cheap. The clock does become inaccurate over time, but that doesn't really bother me. For the price point, I'm happy. When the time comes to replace it, I may go with something else.

I use Jebao. You do need to calibrate it from time to time. The bubble magus that we used at the store gave us nothing but problems. The Redsea looks interesting

I recently ordered a Bubble Magus and then returned it to BRS. The reviews online are not good.

You know. I had it running 2 coral systems at the store. I heads go bad then I had other heads spin since when others were dosing. Im looking for stable parameters not a pump that is going to die since extra alk every time it doses calc.

I just made the move to using dosing pumps myself and I went with the BRS 1.1ml pumps and I am pretty happy so far. I have an Apex but a good timer would do the same thing.

The Red Sea 2 head doser is compact and priced well. I have been very happy with mine so far the past few weeks. The app makes it easy to monitor or adjust everything.
