Ok, so I am using b ionic 2 part and I am new to this. I bought the gallon jugs that I diluted. But when I poured the alkalinity into the container, it looked slightly cloudy. Is this ok/normal? I know when I bought the smaller pre mixed solutions they were both clear. Anyone want to chime in? I was careful as far as I know not to cross contaminate anything. Can the alkalinity be a little cloudy straight from the jug? I don't see any undissolved solid left in the jug.

What did you dilute it with? If not RODI water you may get a slight precipitate.

Forgot to mention that- it was with RODI and I checked it with TDS meter before I put it in, just to be sure it was perfect. It read 0.
Just now I poured some into a clear glass and it is cloudy straight from the jug. When I say cloudy, I mean just a slight tinge. I may try to heat the jug to see if it is just not fully dissolved. I did have to shake it for a long time to get everything to dissolve initially.
I guess this doesn't happen very often?

I use the bio 2 part as well. I've never purchased the gallon size where you have to dilute it yourself but i do know the Co. 1 alkalinity does turn a milky white then quickly dissipates when I put it into my sump. So that's not out of the norm. I would think that since you have to dilute it yourself it would stay that way until you put into the tank.

I pour 1/2, 3/4 , 4/4 of the bottle. I shake the heck out of it every step of the way. no milky looking liquid coming out.....And I shake it every time I pour to the smaller containers to be dosed into the tank...

I do see that the alk small container does have some white precipitation after a period of time like a month or so......
