can anyone id this clear thing on my rock?

Also does anyone know what type of coral this is? It was my first coral when I was in high school and don't remember the name.

So the clear thing is coming out of the white tube and looks like a feather duster. Good fella

The coral looks like a mushroom of some sort maybe a hairy mushroom.

I’m concerned about the algae on your rocks tho.

Its a new tank so it should just be diatoms I'm hoping?
