So my 12 gal nano came with fluorescent lights. I took the LED lights from my old 36 gallon and attached them to the nano. Is this too much light?

Also, Do you put the heater in one of the compartments in the back or can you put it in the tank itself?

Thanks!

You can utilize any light- just assure you set a schedule that does not deliver too much light
Example- Blue 45%, white 12%, green 4%, red 3%, violet 20% and UV 30%

Heather- You can place in tank vertically or on bottom of rear chamber

Probably ! Especially if your able to adjust it down in intensity and yes you can put the heater in the tank.

I’m still kinda new to the hobby but what kinda LED are they. Reef tanks need UV LED to produce the light spectrum for your corals to grow. May not be the best advice but glad to share what I know
