I went with two of these things and I’m testing them out now and they seem to be way too much flow for my tank. I’ve seen a handful of people suggest these/the gph but I have them on else and they are blowing my substrate around.

i have them both on the back glass, I’m not sure maybe if else isn’t the best mode, or if I should move the placement of them.

any input is appreciated

Try moving them to each end of the tank. I’ve found the ‘else’ mode to be the most turbulent. You could try the other modes to get lower flow if needed.
