how can i get this done.... im gonna make an overflow from the 1st chamber of my bio cube 14 and run it into a 20G-L sump and back and have a 20G-L tank above the sump that uses the same sump...........this will increase the amount of water in the system and make it easier to take care of. But its never that simple in this hobby

so the cube will be beside the 2 stacked 20G-L below the top 1 and above the bottom

what have i missed?

just treat the two tanks like independant systems and you will be fine (1 return pump per tank) Would you show me how you are doing your overflow? I've got a biocube 14 I want to plumb into my main system.

well im gonna do it without cutting into the tank.
and would i need a sump or could i use an old tank?
and it just a simple diy overflow made from pvc
