I have two things I'm noticing in my 20gal tank, it's been running about a year.

The first is this large white worm looking thing coming off a rock. There's only 1 of them

There are about 10 of these little purple things, maybe a couple mm long. and a little cluster/swirl at the bottom. My first guess would be my kenya tree dropping buds(?), but I have no idea, just the same color.

hi,welcome to the reef...:)
1st pic ,tunicate.
others , vermetid snails ??

The first looks like a pineapple sponge, a perfectly fine hitchiker/filter feeder. You may find a bunch of them on the walls of your sump/rear chambers.

The second is a vermatid snail. Generally considered a bad guy because they have a mucus net that they extend can irritate (and even kill) corals. You can remove them at the base or glue over the top of the tube. They reproduce like crazy.

First might be a pineapple sponge - harmless.
Second is 100% vermetid snails. They release a net that irritates corals, so it’s best to get rid of them. Break off the tube and cover it in super glue. Bumblebee snails are also known to eat them…mine didn’t. Easy to stop them from taking over when it’s just a few…near impossible if they are allowed to spread.
