Just received brand new trident for a friend and to double check to make sure it working as it should but gave me 2 results. Calibration read exactly as bottle. Which one is more accurate or both of them are off.

I’d be happy with 0.2dkh between them. Is yours well used? Could be the difference in how clean the cuvette is.

Also to be clear both are probably “off”. All you should care about is its close to within 1 dkh of your target and then its consistent.

I never bother with the calibration fluid. I just hand test the tank with salifert tests and then calibrate using tank water.

Mine is about 1 1/2 yr old and it could be the cuvette cause I haven’t service mine yet. Thanks for your input.
