Hello R2R,
Question for you guys. I have live rock from my 150. The rock is 2 years old. I want to use it in my new 210 build at least some of it may be the pukani pieces however I have an aptasia problem that has gotten way out of control with aptasia everywhere. should i disregard the rock or is there anything I can do to save it to have some of that 2-year-old bacteria aptasia free in my 210 build? as of now, i was going to purchase more BRS reef saver what should I do? Thanks in advance.

Muriatic acid for the rock. Save a few small pest free pieces to seed it in the tank. 2 months later all set. Remove small pieces just in case a pest is riding on it.

Bonus is the acid opens every single pore in the rock you didn't even know it had.

Live rock is highly over rated in my opinion. As the years go by it is super difficult not to add biodiversity as you add fish and coral to the tank. In due time everything will be in there once again. Just think what rides on a snail's shell for example. Or a coral plug. Or an anemone that is stubbornly attached to a piece of rock that you qt'd. Etc...

Anything bad that pops up will be controllable with known methods but unlike live rock it can just be impossible to combat easily due to such a large infestation you cannot see right away or located in a place you could not see at all/cannot get at easily.
