Ok had the top off turn the tank to freshwater (50 gallons fresh in a 20 gallons tank)
started over in July.
Added cheato and Tisbe biminiensis copepods and Tigriopus californicus copepods pods and mixed pods from livecopepod.com
September added live sand and spaghetti worms and at least one mini brittle star from John (Fishman) 400 gallons system.
November added two cleaner shrimp Lysmata amboinensis from divers den one large and one small
and two yellow striped cleaner gobies Elacatinus figaro from divers den one large and one small
January the small gobie is growing and the copepods are all over the tank. Saw 30 or more of the
Ophiactidae mini-brittlestars in one group all over some algae yay!
Several types of tube worms and spaghetti worms some of them red and some white on bottom and side of tank.
Might be some red algae growing out of sand in two places. Possibly calcareous algae or gorgonian?
Way overdue for a water change and cleaning the pink algae off the glass.
Then try to figure out the camera and web cam and microscope for pics.
