Hello,
My 20gal long is leaking soooo I was at petco today buying treats for dog.
Well got dog treats and a new gal long.
So what kind of chaois would I cause if I took leaking 20 and moved everything to a non leaking 20 gal? I have a few zoas, mushrooms, snails, hermit, live rock, and pair of clowns in it now...Would it kill them?
Am I gonna cycle again? or just spike a few things? Well be using hob filter from currrent 20gal.

thanks in advance

What about the pair of clownfish in there dont wanna kill mutt n jeff....lol
Lfs lady who is no longer there said to take a dust pan and scoop out the sand with it and place in new tank without disturbing the sand bed too much
Now I have ammonia and nitrate pads should I cut them to size and add them to hob filter?

Ummm had to find pics on that tank...clowns went in last week end of march last yr...so March 2015 sand is about an 1/16"-1/8" above the black trim on tank.

Ok heres an update to the moving of tenants...
Hasn't been done. But off the next 2 days so fingers crossed.
Tonight was at petco with boyfriend getting him a tank for him a refugium. I picked up a stick of putty. Made by fluval...
Im wanting to use it mainly to stick 3 pieces of live rock together before moving them.
The female clown loves her she cave she has in current tank. Will this putty harm whats left in tank? And secondly can i use this putty stuff to frag a hammer tree?

It would probably be easier if you took the rocks out to stick them together with the putty, but you can certainly do that. You can also use it to secure the Hammer frags to rocks. Some people have reported their skimmers going crazy afterward, but as long as you're expecting that I dont see an issue.

Hehehe i dont have a skimmer in either tank....im just afraid of moving the rocks and screwing up mutts she cave...she kicked Jeff's booty out enough to win the battle for cave...
