Going to add a frag tank to my existing display. Will be fed off the return, and drain back to my sump.

First step was get some lighting. I decided to go with 2 Kessil A150W Ocean Blue. Picked these up individually for right around $100 each, with gooseneck and 90 degree adapter.

Next, I need to figure out if the super nano overflow kit from glass-holes will suffice and drill my tank for the overflow.

Need to design the plumbing for both the drain and the return though I think it will be a straight pvc pipe run about 40" or so. I am toying with drilling a hole for the return as well. Haven't gotten that far yet in planning.

Will also need to get a new return pump. The sicce 5 just won't cut feeding my refugium in the sump, a frag tank and my display as I have the the return built currently. Right now, it barely keeps up with just a refugium as I have my main bean animal siphon 1/2 turn from being completely closed. So adding a frag tank will surely be too much. Looking at a waveline dc12000 gen 2 or an eco tech vectra L1.

Will update more as I do this..will take some time.

Sounds like you have everything figured out. Looking forward to seeing it complete and filled with frags.
