20 gallon long stocking help

Hey guys this is my first post, I’ve had my 20g long stocked for about a month now and I was wondering if I could add some more fish

Current stock
O. Clown pair
Royal gramma
Clean up crew

I’d really like to add a pair of cardinals to the tank so I could get some more movement. Do you guys think this would be okay or overstock?

Based on prior reading in the stocking help thread, for your plan to work, you would need to remove one clownfish so that they will not spawn and become too territorial.

This may still be necessary even without adding the cardinals to keep the royal gramma.

Oh dang I was under the impression that if I had a lot of rocks for the fish to hide in that they would be okay
