I have a 20 gallon tall and I'm trying to plan the final residents. No corals will be in this tank.

I currently have:

2 Clownfish
1 Peppermint shrimp
3 Astrea snails
1 Banded Trochus Snail
1 Strawberry conch

I think I'm set on inverts so I'm just planning for my last fish.

Could this tank support 1 yellow clown goby and 1 royal gramma? Or would just adding a royal gramma be better?

How old is the tank? Protein skimmer? Going to add corals?
Couple months old and running stable. Already seeing rapid coralline growth which is surprising since I don't have a fancy light. Whatever I get will be quarantined for a month or more giving the tank more breathing time. No protein skimmer. It's a simple set up with a wavemaker, heater, and hang on the back filter. Not going to add corals.

I would stay safe maybe add 1 per month. You could add 2 more. Very small fish basslets, gobies. Would be my choice for that size of tank.

Both of those fish are suggested for a slightly bigger tank. 1 maybe.... 2 definitely not.

Your tank would definately hitting the maximum capacity of inhabitants. Royal gamma, in my opinion, is more colorful and active then a yellow goby. But yellow goby may be better suited for a 20
