i stil have my 20 gallon nano reef going i havent lost anything i stil have hermits snails a pepermint shrim neon goby firefish and a green star polyp coral what other corals would be nice and would a clownfish of some sort be good

I would map out exactly what you want before adding too much more, especially in regards to fish. Any clown would do great in a 20, even a pair would be fine. Not sure if you're running a sump, but you'll want to make sure you don't add too many fish, your tank will not withstand the bio load. As far as corals... Zoanthids are a great beginner coral, you can get many for cheap, they're very easy to care for, and add a lot of color. You could also consider most soft corals: fingers, mushrooms and some LPS such as frogspawn, Candy Cane, maybe a torch. I would avoid SPS until you successfully house softies and LPS.

i only plan on adding one more fish for a total of 3 and hoping tonhave a totla of 5 soft corals

Sounds good on fish, you can add as many corals as you want. The only thing to consider is the more coral you add, the more dosing or water changes you'll probably have to make. Obviously the more coral you have the faster your elements will be depleted. You can either manually dose or buy a dosing pump to accommodate for this. You will be able to house many many many soft corals without having to dose vs having LPS/SPS which will definitely require some degree of dosing.
