I'm looking to make a 20 Tall into a sump, and was curious as to the exact measurements people used to get their glass baffles cut.

I'm thinking the width should be 11 7/8", but that is an educated guess.

I'm also debating whether to go 8" or 9" high. I'm thinking 8.5".

The thickness should be 1/4", correct?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Every tank is going to be a little different depending on the manufacturer. 1/4 is perfect. The height depends on what your skimmer needs.

how much space do you need between the actual width (12") and the width of the glass baffle? is 1/8" enough or too much?
