Hello everyone,

So I recently got a 4ft wide by 8 ft long fish holding acrylic tank.

This was just a bad design, too many dead spots soooo we decided to cut it in half.

Here is the aftermath, wasn’t bad at all just a lot of plastic in my eyes.

Got it all setup and filled up and got everything dialed in. Used quarantine to finish the rest of my fishroom.

Then we had a leak after about 2 months of being up and running. Turns out the corner came apart, I glued everything and silicones it after cutting it in half but that wasn’t enough. Not a big disaster transferred all corals over to small frag tank and we re glued and added

Now we are all back to normal.

I’ll update as the frag tank matures and more corals are added!
Thanks!!

What was your setup for cutting that thing in half?

Just measured, and drew a line with a straight edge and took a circular saw to it. It was a lot easier than I expected.
