Looking for some general feedback on my plan. This will be my first big tank after several small ones, so plumbing is a little more complicated than I've done before. This is a draft of what I've been thinking, with some future planning baked in. I'm thinking about having a dedicated return for the frag tanks, instead of plumbing off of a larger return but not sure what the feedback/experience out there is on that? 1 larger pump versus 2 smaller ones? This seems fairly straightforward to me, but not sure if there is something I'm not seeing. Constructive criticism more than welcome!

looks good! you are going to have a separate macro tank and a refugium in the sump? Id just do one and reserve the sump space for equipment or some marinepure blocks or something.

my only other input would be to avoid a manifold off of your return pump. I have that setup and fine tuning flow out of the manifold outputs and keeping it all balanced is a pain. For example, you want to increase the flow to your reactors, then the CA reactor flow (and anything else on the manifold) slows down due to reduced backpressure. I suggest a big pump to push water to your three tanks, then another smaller one to feed a manifold for misc equipment. just an idea.

I have a standard refugium in the sump, and the mangrove tank would be separate. Always loved them seeing them grow and want to have a separate dedicated tank for them. I've been rethinking the manifold too, due to the back pressure issue. Read that a few times now in different places. Do you think tapping in the misc equipment and the frag/mangrove tanks into the same pump makes sense?
