Should I go with 1''or 1.5'' drain for the BA? I'm currently looking at a 3-4x turn over rate through the sump. I'm specifically looking at the Tideline overflow from Planet Aquariums. Naturally I would assume 1.5'', however I see they only use 1.5'' drains for aquariums over 300+ gallons.

I probably would go with the 1.5" drains on a 200 gallon. A 1" siphon can drain a lot of water, but I would be more comfortable with the 1.5". If doing 2 overflows, then the 1" might be a good size. Just my opinion.

Thanks. I was leaning towards the 1.5'' drain as well.
