I had to pull everything out of my 150 to wash it with fresh water to kill flatworms, so I upgraded it to 200+ gallon tank and made a new design. It’s been sitting for a few weeks and looks like all the flatworms are gone. I was not able to get rid of them any other way and was loosing corals and fish because of them. I also got rid of hundreds of giant bristle worms. I got a picture of a big one that got me in several fingers. That hurt soooo bad. Imagine having a cactus tossed at you, then multiply that pain by 8 and add salt to it and sprinkle it with more pain. We managed to finish up though. My husband built me a stand and my son helped clean up the house. My baby girl mixed the new saltwater with her toys lol.

Thank you! I ordered corals which arrive next week. I am dumping copepods every few days because I’m worried I lost them in the move. I have had a mandarin goby for 2 years and I he is big now. (4+ inches). I want to make sure him and other copepod eaters are getting enough food while pods breed. If everything is alive in another month then I will call this move a success.

Hi, just wanted to update you. I started noticing adult copepods on the glass, so there is clearly enough in there now. I’ve been putting baby brine shrimp in the tank every too since everyone seems to love that. Luckily the moved worked out great.

I've been breeding pods for a few months now and adding them to my tank often. I'm at the point now where I feel a mandarin would have plenty to eat so I've been looking for one. It's exciting.
