2014 Goals

What are you reef keeping goals for 2014?

I'm going to break mine down into sections.

EQUIPMENT:
- Want to upgrade to a larger tank
- Upgrade to a controllable DC return pump
- Retro in LEDs into my current lighting set up
- Finish current project (the ball is rollin....)

LIVESTOCK:
- Add some more fish (another tang, another fairy wrasse, mandarin, starburst anthias)
- Continue my collection of the nicest sticks and zoas I can find.
- Add in more nice LPS
- Watch what I have continue to flourish

HUSBANDRY:
- Keep doing what I'm doing to keep my livestock happy
- Decide on a new salt mix (or keep what I've been using)
- Take better care of the equipment I've got to keep it performing
-Test more often

What do you guys have planned?

2014
-Finish stocking the tank fish wise. 3 more fish are planned; 1 copperband butterfly, 1 male wantanabei angel, 1 purple tang.
-Grow out coral and find them places in the tank.
-Probably start dosing calc or do a calc reactor. (Need to test and research)
-Get the refugium looking like a, well, refugium.
-More awesome inverts (if fish livestock will allow it)

Thats a good list you have there. My biggest and most important is to get my 180 upgrade bought, setup and running.

My goal for 2014 is to eradicate blue clove polyps from my DT.

My goal in 2014 is to be ready for corals by the frag swap.

Right now, my 180 is dry (but my rock is cycling in my sump), but we're moving it into the house this coming weekend and then plumbing it right after Christmas. Won't be long!

Beyond that, I just want to get my tank into a routine and get everything established.

I would like to find a superman monti, reverse superman monti, and a purple tip hammer coral. Maybe add another tang but still deciding.

The biggest update would be to change over to a calcium reactor at some point in time.

Continue learning and beating the GHA outta my tank.
