Just had my Jebao CP-90 Cross-Flow delivered! Here is a few unboxing pics. I’m going to add a demo video of it running in my Biocube 32 later tonight or tomorrow.

The pump was really secured well in the foam. Took a little effort to get it out.

I am very new to this so I don’t really have much to compare this to but I can at least record some videos and you guys can let me know what you think.

I have had reliability problems with Jebao in the past (RW-8 and dosing pump both failed) but for the price its hard to knock em.

Does Jebao allow or have controllers for two of these pumps to work together, like Maxpect does? I know Jebao does this with their regular wave maker pumps.

For that you'll need the wifi controller 1 for each pump.

This is my first ever video and doing this one handed while trying to keep focus was a challenge. So please don’t be too harsh on my videography, lol. My ph was low so I mixed up some buffer in a bottle. I was hoping this would help show water flow since my tank is still empty. It didn’t show up the greatest on camera and I can only dose once so I could not reshoot. Hopefully you get the idea.

This pump seemed very quiet. Pay attention to the volume level on the controller button clicking vs the pump noise itself. Even on full speed which happens throughout while I cycle through the 4 modes and at the end where I keep it on full.

I have a thermometer in the bottom back right corner below the pump and blocked by rock and it was swaying pretty good.

Your welcome! Yes, you can adjust the speed for all 4 modes. I am still testing but on one mode the speed button seems to control full speed pulsing incriments instead of overall speed. Each mode has 10 speed settings.

I have this same wave pump in a 55 gallon. I just put the wave pump in on Saturday (January 5th 2019). I get home from work today and the impeller shaft on one side is broken. I have contacted the seller about refunding my money or replacing the motor. If they refund my money I am going to buy the Ice Cap Gyre. Better reliability and most likely better quality.

Is a hit or miss with Jebao...I had one and it worked flawlessly. A little on the loud side though which could be a little annoying. But most quality wave makers are over $300
