On a more serious note in my mid 20 I use to dive allot at allival north (spelling) ... On South Africa east coast close to place called Margate, use to see massive schools of them,..on the drop off . Never thought them to be so valuable... 2 economy tickets , large net and we could be rich....

No nothing, if no sign of ick or anything else, no treatment needs to be done.
But he'll stay by himself in a 5' frag tank for at least 6 weeks so I can observe him.
After that I will introduce him to my black tang which I have in another 5' frag tank now for 5 months.
I do want them to get used to each other before they go in the DT.

I hope that will be not the issue.
I've seen a tank here in Houston that was housed, two gems, a black and a purple.
Now I got rid of my Red Sea Pair of Purples about two months ago.
Only Tang I have in my tank as we speak is a Blond Naso but he's not harming any of the other 8 fish.

Gems are ok. the black tang used to chase around a 6" purple at the LFS.
Now he's housed with a Atlantic Ocean Blue tang and they are big buddies.
Had him trained within a month.

HAHA, two gems is a bit too much for me.
I have currently in my tank.
1 Blond Naso 7"
1 Magician Foxface 5"
1 Hawaiian Flame Angel 3"
1 Mystery Wrasse 3"
1 Bandit Angel 4"
2 Females Bellus Angels 3" (traded it for my 6" Male Bellus)
1 Mellanus Wrasse 4"

I will add to that around Thanksgiving or after the Gem and Black Tang, and maybe the Atlantic Ocean Blue Tang too.
That will complete my list, if I like to add more I will take a fish out.
Not a fan of overstocking my tank, always had only 10 0r 11 fish in my 200 gallon.

I have a high maintenance Family.
One Gem will do for now.
Will have a DASTACO reactor in MY stocking on Christmas.
