Hey,
long story short I have a 7 gallon with a couple softies, some LPS, a clown and a firefish. A friend gave me a 20gal they don’t use and I’m thinking I’ll move everything over, get some more stability and space. Here’s my plan for equipment:
Aquaclear 50 modded into a fuge/ filter
100w heater with controller
Macro aqua HOB skimmer
Aquasmart ATO
Hipargero A029 from 7 gal(old model, nice of them to add in a timer 2 months after I bought it)
11lb of liferock (seeded with live rock from 7 gal) I want more but why are rocks so expensive??
Salifert test array ( I want hannas, but there’s a theme here….I don’t have a lot of money)
I was really considering building my own sump, but I plan on moving out soon and figured let’s keep everything mobile to make a potential move easier.
Let me know what you guys think about the build, and I’ll try to post pics when I get started! Also if you have any expeirence with above products please, or if you think there’s a better option available at that price point please let me know! Hopefully I’ll have a cycled new reef within a few weeks, and keep it in budget
