Just had my second jebao sw2 fail at 13months. Deciding to go away from these junk items. What options are best for a 20g nano soft and lps tank that won't break the bank.

So besides Ecotech MP10 and AI Nero 3?

Tunze makes really nice stuff. If you go with a non-controller one, the non streams are really reasonably priced.

I vote Nero 3 all day. Love mine, no regerts (haha). It may be higher cost, but at half the cost of an Ecotech it’s worth every dollar.

I guess im indifferent. Something made in china at a great price that runs 24/7 and ramps up and down and runs 13 months sounds like you got your money’s worth.

Every research ive done they all fail.

I just got a SLW-5 and feel its the greatest bang for the buck. Works just as good as a Nero-5 i have.

AI Nero 3 is pricey - yes. But it is completely quiet for me and works well.

Ive looked at the hygger before but never see them for sale in the uk.

Im tempted at the nero 3 but everywhere where its reasonably priced are out of stock which is my fault for not having a backup. How reliable are they?
