I am thinking of a doing two false percula clownfish with anemones on a 20g tank would this possible the two clownfish are mated pairs already hosting a huge bubble tip anemone. What you guys think is this possible? I am curious has anybody done this? Will a sump would be necessary for this set up of a HOB will be sufficient?

If you aren't thinking any other fish I don't see why it wouldn't be alright. A sump isn't necessary but there are advantages to having one. For one, since you are specifically thinking of having anemones, with a big enough return pump you eliminate or at least reduce the amount of power heads necessary for flow, (since many a nem met its maker bc the intake of a power head sucked it in. It gives you a little more water volume which is more stability. Its a good place to hide heaters, skimmers, reactors and other equipment. I use a HOB overflow with no problems.

I have an extra 10 tank could turn that into a simple sump pretty sure all the equipment would fit there

*Update
I measured my tank it is a 10g tank not sure if I can even fit a Clownfish in such a small place. What are your thoughts? I know the 1.5 inches for every gallon but seems that space is too small unless I move them to my DT in the living room once they grow? Any thoughts?

10 gallon tank might be OK for some of the smaller clowns, (like percula or oscelleras) for awhile. There is a thread by Diamond1 called 10gallon softie tank. He had clowns in his but one of the clowns jumped out so he only has one clownfish now. Anyway, Diamond would be a good resource to ask questions about a 10 gallon tank.
