Morning everyone I have a question I have a 20g tank it’s been a week since I put it up it only has life rocks brand and 2 clowns when would it be ready to do a water change and when would I add more fishes and if so which one or should I do I inverts

With a tank that size, it's good to do weekly water changes. Something like 2 gallons every week will help to manage nutrient levels from rising up too much and if you eventually keep coral this will also replenish some of the consumed alk and cal. Testing will determine if you need to change water at the moment, what are your ammonia and nitrate levels at?

Hold off on more fish for a few weeks, your tank is cycling now at the expense of the clowns, adding more fish now will overload the system and likely kill all the fish. Wait 3-4 weeks, and you can only have 3, maybe 4 fish in that tank if you select your fish carefully.

I only did a test like 4 days ago and they said everything is looking good nitrate need to go a little down but good that all they said so I’m like ok then when exactly do I do the first water change after putting up the new tank or how long the cycle

Ok thank you for that and what about a cleaning crew and when?

You can get some things like hermits now, they will eat uneaten food. Generally better to hold off on snails until you start to see some algae grow. As more algae grows, your clean up crew should grow along with it.

And thank you for taking the time to answer my question I’m new to this lol

How many hermit crabs can I get for the 20g ? @Mr. Mojo Rising ?
Personally I would add 5-10, can probably add a few more later on if you like once algae starts growing. The main thing is they should have enough food or else they will kill and eat each other. On the other hand, you can't feed too much too often or you will foul the water. Its a fine line. So if there's algae in the tank for them to graze on all day then they are happy and you don't have to feed to often.
