20k DE 250 bulbs users

How do you like the 20's are they too blue....tell me what you think.

"ReefLux anyone use these ?"

I know Reeflux makes a 10k and a 12k, but I don't think they make a 20k.

Radiums are my Favorite bulbs, and are considered 20K.

Radium does not make a DE bulb though.

Pheonix 14k's are my favorite, and actually have the color of a 20k bulb IMO.

Radium does make Double ended bulbs, but I beleive they only come in 150 watts. I use the 400 and 250 watt mogels, so I don't know much about them. The pheonix 20k, and MX 20k are close seconds in color though.

Since somebody asked, thumbs-up on the reeflux 12k's ... they need actinic supplementation for that "POP" from corals, but look pretty good even on their own. Tried the 10k's, and they're too yellow to stand on their own.

Have Ushios and i love them. Gonna try the Helios next to see if theres a difference.

I heard there was a big let down in QC from helios so my next bulb will be a 20k ushio.

ReefLux anyone use these ?
I use them they look like the 12k or even radium on galaxy pure white with a hint of blue they don't pop color like radium though.
for a real 20k I will say xm or Ushios

Just switched out 250w DE phoenix 14k's to XM 20k's today. Nice color, but looks pretty close to the 14's IMO. We'll see if they change after they burn in

normally when burnt in they turn more white.
no way phoenix 14k de are close to 20k se radiums. i use both like the se radium, but have a fixture that use de bulbs so i use the phoenix

I was using the phoenix 14k's before I switched to the helios 20k's. I'm considering switching back to the phoenix. The 2 bulbs looked almost exactly the same to me. The only difference is the phoenix put out way more par.
