20k Leagues lokani

i saw one available on frag farmer one night, seriously contemplated for about 30min if i should get it......

they didnt really have anything else i wanted, so i was waiting for them to upload stuff, i went and checked an hour later and someone got it.

they only make one available once in a blue moon and i missed it.

...thats the only place i know to get it from...where are you trying to get it from?

I almost got the 20,000 leagues last time I ordered from fragfarmer but I decided not to at the last minute. I regret not ordering it. Sometimes Eric doesn't list everything he has available. It's best to call and he will let you know what he has.

i know liveaquaria sells a 30,000 leages knock off.

if it didnt come from fragfarmer lineage, i wouldnt pay the premium price for it...thats for sure.

not sure where RE got it from but it is $39 for a 1/2" frag.I know the one I found local is the real thing.

actually i think fragfarmer got theirs from rafael at the coral nursery, who is the same person la gets theirs from, a local got one and it turned blue/ purple on him, mine is still purple but is growing pretty well.

i am saying that they are both lokani's and purple or blue depending on lighting, and iirc i read eric from fragfarmer say he got his from rafael at tcn

i had read that when it was first posted and hadn't seen the explanation, so while they might not be the same lineage, i think they are the same coral, and any colors present in one could be brought out in the others.

I have seen both the 30k and 20k lokani side by side. They are different, but both are sweet. The 30k lokani is purple in my tank, and looks like the photo from frag farmer for the 20k lokani. The 20k lokani looks bluer when placed side by side.

someone local to me has the 30k, and it is a deep royal blue in his tank, purple in mine, and we both got them from la around the same time.

This was the 20,000 Leagues Lokani I got directly from Eric over a year ago. Unfortunately, I lost it along with numerous other LE corals when my tank crashed about a year ago. Eric is holding onto another frag for me as we speak. Can't wait to pick it up
