I have a 20L quarantine tank I have my new tangs in. I'm wondering if a single 150gph power filter is enough flow for this aquarium while they are in treatment. Want to keep the stress down, but want enough cycle of water as well. I have only used this aquarium with corals in it before with a Tunze blasting water in it. So just curious what people are using.

Let me know your thoughts.

I personally like to use HOB filter and a powerhead (directed towards the surface) in my QTs. Mostly for redundancy sake, as one of the few times I used a HOB filter only, it stopped working while I was at work and lost the fish in QT due to low O2 levels. Besides tangs love flow.

Thank. Yeah I had a small tunze I put in there just for a second or two and it was like a whirl wind in there for the fish. I ended up buying one more 250gph power filter and placed it on the opposite end. That will give the tangs some more movement and not too turbulent. Thanks for the heads up.
