I had a SunSetter Control from 21 LED USA, that had a severe case of Dyslexia. I did finally get the times set. Here is the Reboot / Correction from 21.

Hold default button for 5 seconds
Unplug it from power
Plug back in
Set clock.

That should do it. If not click timer 2 and then all steps above again.

Have you had any luck customizing the program on the Sunsetter?

Yes, I unplugged it from the the big light, plugged it into a White and a Blue Reefbar. Sat in my recliner, when I wasn’t going to have any distractions. Also I programmed four different schedules into the lights. Main thing is no distractions, when doing programming. Also I made a Laminated Cheat Sheets with my various schedules written on them, so if somehow they get lost, I can reprogram the lights.

Thanks, I am a fairly technical person. I believe I am following the instructions, but can't get it to save/over write one of the canned schedules. I'll try again

I’m away from my Aquariuims, so I don’t have access to the lights or instructions at this time. I think I had to erase the older programs and reprogram each one. Not overwrite them.

Thanks, I figured it out last night. I was adjusting the wrong channel as i only have blue lights. I must have plugged into the wrong cable.

Okay, but on the Lower Part of the Control there are Four Pre-Programmed Light Schedules. You can Re-Program each one individually. I have Several of the Plain 12” Strips, and I plugged them into the SunSetter to program these settings, to keep from being blinded by my 4foot ReefBars. Also they have Moon Light settings, that are controlled via time and intensity. A lot is packed into the SunSetter.

Yes, as I said, my issue was the fact that I was re-programming Channel 1 and not seeing any change. The problem is that my lights are plugged into Channel 2 and I wasn't changing that. Once i realized my mistake, I had no problem altering one of the pre-set programs.
