So i Just bought a 22 gallon Mr Aqua 36" Long, 12" W, 12"H Rimless tank with 8mm thick glass. I bought the foam leveling pad and will make sure the tank is properly leveled. However, I live on the second floor and you can feel some floor vibrations from fat people going up the stairs sometimes, lol. It is nothing extreme but still something in the back of my mind. So my question is with a 3 foot long shallow tank would I be wise to do a full eurobrace, or I have also seen some people do partial Eurobracing (like 3 braces across the width like one in the center and one on each corner, or I have also seen the opposite with people just bracing along the length of the tank with one brace going across each side.)
So 2 questions really:
-Should I even be worried about it with 8mm thick glass with these dimensions to begin with?
-If so I would like to just do the partial eurobrace if possible. Ideally, 3 across the width or maybe just one across the center as opposed to the length.. but I don't know structurally speaking what are the the weakest points of long shallow tanks that should be focused on.
