220.6 New Reef Build - Lincoln, NE

Fish in order of intro to tank: 4 Black OC clowns, Coral Beauty Angel, Flame Angel, Royal Gramma, Fire Shrimp, Neon and Orchid Dottybacks, Helfrichi Firefish, cleanup crew of snails, hermits and two emerald crabs. Rose Bubble Tip Anenome. Soon to add tangs, red mandarin and start corals.
Hope I don't kill anenome. Didn't know they shouldn't go in before 6 months. I'm at 8 weeks or so.
Going for mixed reef. Waterbox 220.6. Sump and ATO underneath. Refugium is up and running. Skimmer is in, not running it yet Reef Octo 150. Vectra return pump, 2 x gyre 330. MP 40s still in box. Hydra 32hd x 4 for lighting. Kessil 360 fuge light. Return is pumped through the wall into garage and back where I have ball valve over sink for quick easy water changes and water testing.
Going to add 2nd sump in garage. Waterbox sump has skimmer after full which wil decimate my pods. This is why not running skimmer yet until 2nd sump is added.
Sorry for ramble-on. Would love some aqua/rock scape advice!

Looks good to me, you could maybe break up the rocks a bit more on the left/middle.

I like the islands look, but it’s your tank and you need to be happy with it. If you need pictures etc there is a thread here

I started over. Setup hotel / quarantine tanks for livestock while emptied DT, added more sand, removed rock and used aquascape cement and built structures. Added a 2nd sump in the garage where the fuge now resides and the protein skimmer now resides in the under tank sump. this way my pods arent consummed by the skimmer and my refugium light doesnt give the Sigourney Weaver's fridge "Zooool" look to the DT cabinet at night. Ran all electrical through the wall into the garage and built a new control cabinet. Got the sink and sampling valve right there so can do all my testing in the garage. Will send pics of tank tomorrow. Here is the new setup and secondary sump in garage. Guess I do have a couple pics of rock structure. Welcome any feedback and constructive suggestion!! Will post again soon with the good and the challenges of this double sump setup with 2 return pumps and trying to match speed and consistent water levels and so forth.
