220 Gallons of Eye Candy

Stand is done. Working on the 15” platform back and sides. Also will be laying some shower liner down to protect the wood.

Set up some temporary rubbermaid containers last night. I did my weekly Water Change Wednesday, used the waste water to fill up one of the containers, added my old t5 fixture, small heater and a aqua lifter for some water movement. I removed about 10 lbs of live rock and about thirty RBTA. Haven't check today, but hopefully its still good.

This weekend I will be taking my 75 fuge off line, draining it and moving it downstairs. I will be taking some more rock and coral out of the 220. The 220 will be running with only lights, wave pumps and a heater. I think this is all I will need to keep it running for a week or so. I will also be relocating the electrical work to down stairs.

Next weekend is the big move day. Hope all goes as planned. Keep ya'll posted.

I’ll be honest, a bit sad to see this beautiful display being relocated to the basement. But I have to keep saying I’m doing so because of my daughter that will arrive in April.

Welp. Tank is off line. Just the 220 running on wave makers, heater and a couple AI hydras. All the plumbing is demoed. 75 is drained and will be moved tomorrow. I can then start brainstorming the plumbing. And setting the equipment. Buddy of mine and I will tackle the electrical relocation as well.

What a mess I have on my hands. Can’t wait for the plan to come together.

Today’s been a roller coaster of a ride. Woke up to find all my fish dead. All the large fish that is. I think lack of oxygen is the problem. I had thought I had the power heads pointed at to top to break the water but I don’t think it was the enough. The emergency situation called for removing all the coral and surviving fish. They are in totes that were setup couple days ago. Called a crew and we moved the tank downstairs. Got the lights hung and will do the plumbing next couple days.

Man I just stumbled upon this thread. Congratulations on your soon to arrive little princess, that was a beautiful track you had put together, and I look forward to the progress and return when you get it back online. I really hate to hear about your large fish, I hope everything else works out well for you.

Thanks for the kind words. Even though fish were lost and it sucks alot, I will make a turn around and it will be better then before.
