220g Aquascape, filtration and lightning

hey guys I’m looking for some advice on my aquascape for esthetic and biological filtration purposes. I also am wondering if my lighting is sufficient. I attached a few pictures of the aquascape from when I was filling the tank but nothing has changed. I also drew in red on one of the pictures where I was planning on adding some rock from my existing tank. My questions are: will this minimal amount of rock be sufficient for filtration? I also have a marine pure 8x8x4 block in the sump and was thinking of adding a second. My stocking is 4 tangs, foxface, two clowns, 6 line wrasse, flame angle, royal gramma and an anthia. I am also wondering if my lighting will be sufficient for the corals in tank(minimal sps). I am running two kessil a360we’s and a 6 bulb 4 foot t5 light. Thanks.

I like the layout! And yes, that will be plenty of surface area for your nitrifying bacteria.

Before you go adding too much more rock, make sure you leave plenty of room for future coral growth. I think adding to where you red line is would be the most you would want.

If you put your SPS under the kessils it should be fine. If you want everything more evenly spaced out you will likely want to add 2 more kessils in the future.

Thank you I was very please with the layout. I just though the arch looked a little silly being the highest point and I also thought it would be good to have some rock higher up to get the corals closer to the lights.

You have enough tank height to add more rock if you want to and still allow for vertical coral growth. Once you start growing coral (granted, it can take years) the arch won't be the highest point anymore.

I currently have a 92g corner I will be moving everything from so decent sized corals will be moved into place. Do you think I should add the second marine pure block?

It isn't necessary but I doubt it would hurt. I would definitely move it over for at least a little while if you are going to move all your fish at the same time.

I have both systems running and plan on moving everything over the course of a few months. The marine pure block was added brand new and dry when I set this up. All of the rock and sand was dry. I added three rocks from my 92 and a few bottles of bio spira

Ok, as long as you don't have to move it all at once, I would consider the block optional.

I was hoping not to have any casualties during this upgrading process but when I moved some rocks in my 92 to get a rock with no Coral on it an anemone stung a very large leather I had and I don’t think it’s going to make it.
