These new aquariums are cheeeeap for the size. What do you all think?

Take a look at my build thread. Not a true 220 gallons though. Display is about 140 and sump about 35, plus the ATO tank (not using).
AVC puts the display around 175 Gallons...? Maybe for arguements sake 160ish for actual water height...
What thickness of glass do they use on this bad boy?
Pricing seems to be all over the map, I've seen some at $3000 and others like liveaquaria for $2100
Liveaquaria is dirt cheap, not sure why (crazy cheap if it includes shipping), couple hundred less than what I paid at Reefapalooza Chicago.
3/4 glass, its seem nice and clear.
Could just be an introductory price for them, although it doesn't say that... and right on 3/4" is atleast industry standard for that size tank. I find it crazy they can do an aluminum stand for that price, try quoting one for a tank that size and your probably on par with the cost of that whole setup!
How is this 220 gallons? So a 180 gallon aquarium is 72" x 24" x 24". This tank is 71" x 24" x 24". That would make this less than 180 gallons. Either the tank size or dimensions are incorrect.
Check out mine.....Hope someone does a build thread on this. The online imagery & documentation on Live Aquaria is pretty amatuer. Manufacturer site is a little better. For the price, this looks pretty good. I like the aluminum frame and glass panel stand. CADE does something similar.

Check out mine.....![]()
The outside glass was more like 70.5"x23 1/2" and of course you can't fill it 100% full. You lose 3/4" on the bottom right off the bat.
And like most manufactures they quote the system volume (sump and ATO included).
That's completed WRONG!
What's next, volume of the room it's in if the window has silicone around it?
Not sure exactly what is wrong? I can grab some pics of the measurements and water level? That's completed WRONG!
